Some of you want to see my plants. I’ll show you some pictures

Let me give you a tour of the most important corner of my room. Well, there’s two actually. HAHA. Let me warn you: This might be a long blog. Well, the pictures will make it look long. OK, let’s proceed.

Click on the photo to enlarge. First let me show you the most important cornerbox . Yes your seeing it right. It is this not-so-elegant bookshelf that holds most of the important stuff (or at least I consider important) in my oh-so-boring life. As you can see, it is kind of divided into five parts. Now, let me show you around each of the five parts of the most important cornerbox of my room. Be prepared to be amazed by some the useless stuff that I consider important. Be prepared to wonder why the heck are some of these important, and why do I even keep some of the stuff.

Last June, we decided to put some green in our backyard. What did we do? Planted vegetable of course! Let me give you a tour of my want-to-be-green-but-not-so-green garden.

Meet my tomatoes. So far, we only have two small tomatoes out of the four plants that we planted. FAIL But I’m really excited for them to grow, I just hope they grow before winter, or even fall, starts.

Meet my bell peppers. Out of all the four plants, we only have one growing. ONE Which is more of a FAIL compared to the tomatoes. But don’t worry, I can see some buds coming and flowers blooming. Which is a good sign.

Meet my carrots. For this one, I won’t be really surprise if they don’t grow because I planted them wrong. FAIL on my part because I didn’t read the instructions that goes with the plant. And I forgot that there’s carrots, and that they grown underneath. MORE FAIL. I didn’t really use common sense knowing that they’re going to get bigger underneath. But I was just so curious, so I dug one out and I saw a teeny-little-weeny carrot growing. So maybe there’s still hope.

Meet my onions. Just like the carrots, I dug one out, and all I saw were roots! Not even a single small onion on site! So I proceeded onto reading the instructions, and what do you know? It’s maturity is freaking 148 days! 148! I just hope that they grow before its starts snowing!

Meet my celery. I would like to call them my “hibernating” plant because they died on me on the first few weeks that I planted them. I thought that was the last time I’ll see them and the last time I will ever plant celery. But lo and behold! They grew back Slowly but surely growing back. I must be really lucky!

Meet my lettuces. I really proud of my lettuces because out of all my plants, they’re the only ones that didn’t die on me or don’t take long to grow. It’s visible that they’ve grown because you can see it in their height. They have grown taller than my tomatoes, and I am proud of it. I know I should have harvested them long time ago, but I really like seeing them in my backyard. They’re the ones that really put the green on my garden

So there’s a new layout. And this one will probably stick on longer than the other layouts since I’m probably going to be busy spending my summer to the fullest. I took out the portfolio section and there might be some broken links/pages that need some fixing up. So I might be working on that for the rest of the day.

I also got Formspring. Don’t ask me why, but I thought it was going to come in handy. So ask away
My dad said that if we can ever harvest something out of the garden, then I have a GREEN THUMB. WOOHOOO. So far I have a not-so-green thumb seeing as how I have not harvested any YET. But just wait!

It was a really fun day and we got to ride in all the rides for cheap. We got discounts of course, so that’s always a catch Thanks 5ammay for the really nice day!

Anyways, about the title… Yeah. My friends and I planned on going to the beach yesterday, Saturday. The weather forecast said that it was going to rain and there were supposed to be thunderstorms but we still decided to go to the beach anyway. When we got there, it was raining for a bit but then it got really sunny in a few minutes. Everyone in the beach were rejoicing and so were we. We decided to sit near the shoreline and waited for our other friends. Next thing you know, it started raining hard again! UGH. Just our luck. So my other friend who we were waiting for decided that we should just hang out at her place instead. So she picked us up. And what do you know? Once we left, it was all sunny and never rained again! I guess weather was not on our side that day.

Enough of the disaster. I’m planning on going to the movies this Tuesday since Tuesdays are always cheap; and watch Despicable Me I saw the trailer and it was really cute, so I want to watch it on 3D. I’m hoping its going to be worth my money though. If you don’t know what it is, here’s the trailer. I especially like the “annoying sound” part at 1:00

My parents bought me a new laptop (Samsung R480) 2 weeks ago and I’m in heaven But I’m kinda regretting it and thought that I should have gotten the Mac since my parents were offering it. But I was thinking about all the stuff I can download and it might not work on a Mac. I’m kinda bum that its battery like is only around 2 hours, so it makes me worried. I would be carrying this laptop around school for my courses and I don’t want it to die in the middle of a lesson. That would totally suck! So I might as well carry the adapter around ALL THE TIME! Anyways, I’m contented right now and I’m free from my brother’s constant yapping about him using the computer.

I’m having one problem with this laptop though. Every now and then, there’s this buzz sound that just comes out of nowhere and I don’t know what it is. I’m really scared because I don’t want that to be the reason for my laptop to crash or something.

I thought that since I have my own laptop now I can update the site frequently and make some graphics. But it turns out that laziness got over me and I don’t want to do anything site related. Also, I have to download and install all of the programs I need to use to update the site. That’s too troublesome. But since I’m always inside the house I thought, why not download them now? So I just downloaded the stuff that I need today and hope that I would make a new layout and new graphics soon.

Ever since I got the laptop, I found a newold obsession. It’s watching Asian dramas and movies online. Man, it feel so weird to be watching dramas again after such a long period of time. I even finished a drama in one day! That’s a new record for me! WOW. If you have any recommendations, please do tell me. I only want COMPLETE romance dramas/movies. I’m that kind of type of person

I’ve done two of the three on the list which is Prom and final exams. Now, all I have to wait is for my graduation day to come which is on Monday I’m really happy to be closing one chapter of my life. And I’m excited and ready to be opening a new and fresh chapter. YEHEY for me

Anyways, since I haven’t been updating lately, I decided to make a new layout for Zealous. Trust me, it wasn’t easy. Inspiration and ideas just didn’t come to my mind, and they still are not here. So it was hard making the layout compared to previous layout experiences. But hey, I managed right? Tell me the truth!!!

So, since summer has finally arrived to come and pick me up, I might be blogging more often and maybe even making some fresh new graphics to share with you. I have added two new layouts and two anime icons. I want to be adding more new layouts, icons, wallpapers and hopefully some new fonts this summer.

I still need to edit some pages, so that’s it for now.

New layout. Not really one of my best, so this will serve as a temporary layout until I get my life on track again. By on track, I mean, having more time for myself to relax. Right now is really hectic since prom and graduation are coming up pretty fast. Can’t wait

When I’m really bored out of my mind, and too lazy to make some layouts, I decided to do some creative stuff in Photoshop Elements. I have been updating my DeviantArt Account with some art that I find myself getting better I’m practicing how to color skin and make it look real. So, I decided to copy some of my pictures and making them into “artsy-looking” pictures.

Anyways, since I have been away for a very long time, I would like to start fresh. Some affies have probably deleted me from their list, which is understandable, and some have left the “web-site” world. So, right now, I’m looking through my affies, link exchanges and advertising list to see who has still kept me up. But I don’t know if I can finish it all today since homework is calling me once again. GRRR..

Also, I would like to start making VLOGS again, but its hard finding a topic to talk about to try to keep you guys awake. So, that will take a longer time to do. Plus, our lives are pretty boring right now :S Along with planning on making VLOGS, maybe I should also make new poems and articles. But I doubt anyone’s going to be reading them…

Since its a long weekend this coming weekend, my parents are planning on going to New York. This is going to be the very FIRST TIME that we stepped out of the border I’m thrilled, and I’m crossing my fingers that it will all come true. I think I’m going to go crazy once we get there…WAHshoppingWAHHH…

Anyways, one thing that keeps me busy too is finding a prom dress. It was hard finding a cheap one but I found one!
I have blue curtains so it somewhat blended with my blue dress. But oh well. Here it is:

LOL. I can’t believe I was thinking of crazy stuff when I was in church! Can you believe that? Instead of listening to the priest, my mind wanders off to something that’s so stupid. Well maybe because I was kinda… you can say influenced… by a guy in our church. You see… this guy I’m talking about is bald. I know! I shouldn’t be laughing about it. But there was something really unique about his “baldness”. I mean, I have teachers who are bald, but this guy’s head was just… so different. By different, I mean SHINY. As in, really shiny.

OMG. I know you shouldn’t judge a book with its cover, but its just so funny! I know its bad. Really bad. It was so hard trying to control myself from laughing because his shiny head was just so… it really catches your eye. And because it did caught my eye, I was thinking how I looked like with bald hair. You know, without all this black wavy hair in my head? It’s so weird. All I can imagine are green coloured aliens. EW.

So yeah… You’re probably thinking of how random I am talking about bald dudes. But hey, aren’t all of us random? LOL. You probably think of how mean and crazy I am since I’m making fun of people. But I am NOT making fun of people, I’m just observing. You know, “observing” my surroundings? C’mon, don’t tell me you don’t do that! HAHA.

Anyways, the point of this whole crap is: I want you to finish the sentence that I started.

Oh yeah, it’s finally MARCH BREAK, but I still can’t relax. We are moving to a house on March Break so, its still going to be pretty busy and hectic when I’m supposed to be sleeping. Plus, I might not even have time to be online. OOOHH I also got accepted to all of my university choices now So, now all I have to do is keep my grades up. I’m just hoping I can get a 70% especially for calculus and physics :S

I think I need to drop my Physics class since I’m doing really bad on it. I’m jut not the physics type of person. I don’t even know why I’m taking it, it’s only recommended and not required. But If I drop it, I don’t know what course to take.

Oh oh I have happy news too! I got accepted to one of my university choices but it’s not my first choice though. But that’s OK. I’m still I happy I got accepted But I still have conditions to follow like keeping my average up. It’s going to be hard doing that especially with physics and calculus in my schedule. Brrr.

Oh yeah, right now I’m typing this using my iTouch since my computer mouse is being such a bitch. It started a few days ago and I thought It was just a one time thing. But yesterday, it fully stopped working. Not dead stop but it only moves up and down. Not sideways. I guess it’s time to buy a new mouse. Right?

Anyways, I gotta go. It’s Canada vs Russia in men’s hockey tonight. Go team Canada!!!

I love my friends, I really do. But there are times when I just imagine myself pulling their hairs out until they become bald. I mean, they’re good friends, I can’t deny that. But sometimes, I wonder how I get along with these people who are so different from me. REALLY different from me. One thing that I have noticed recently though is how I just can’t talk back to my friends. I mean, if I think they said something mean, I just keep quiet. I guess the thought of loosing such people really is frightening. I just can’t loose them because of something so stupid. For example, we have different taste in music, and some of my friends turns their “ew mode” on. I LOVE Hedley. I like their songs a lot, but some of my friends just don’t understand the fact that each one of us is different. Having been in this situation lots of times, I have finally found my voice. I tell them what I think is wrong and right. Yes, there might be some arguments, but hey, that’s what friends are for. Who said life is easy? Who said I am perfect? Well, they lied to you. They might think of me as a bitch, but hey, this bitch will always be your friend despite your opinion and our differences. One thing I ask my friends: Do you want a lying friend or an honest one?. Now, you choose.

Anyways, this will be the very first mini-article of 2010. I wasn’t even planning on writing one, and I don’t even know if this counts as an article, maybe a reflection? Who knows. But yeah, I decided to write this as I was ranting about how some of my friends can get into my nerves. REALLY BAD.. But yeah, the whole “reflection” thing explains it all.

We got our report cards today, and I’m really disappointed in myself. My overall average is a 76.8 They didn’t even round it up! I don’t think I’ll be in the honour roll this time, but hey, I still have this second semester. Even my math teacher was disappointed. He said in the comments section “not working to the level of his/her ability”. UGH. This really sucks since I’ll be going to university this fall. I’m just hoping my marks will do.

On the happier side, Canada won gold for men’s moguls. YEHHEYY. The very first gold that Canada received on Canadian soil! Really proud of Alex (athlete)! And I’m crossing my fingers that they keep the medals and gold coming

February 5, 2010: Winter Activity Day
My school has this Winter Activity Day where students are allowed to choose which activity they wish to participate in. There’s like snowboarding, skiing, snow tubing, Laser Quest, bowling, etc.. So I decided to go Snow Tubing :). That was probably the best activity day I have gone to! I don’t really want to explain the activity, so go HERE.

February 6, 2010: Debut
So, me and my friends were 20 minutes early but we decided to just go inside. We were lining up to check the names and which table we were in. But when it got to me, THEY COULD NOT FIND MY NAME! I was just like, “She invited me.”. The lady—her mom—asked if I received an invitation. And of course I did! I don’t want to crash someone’s party, a really important and EXPENSIVE party! Ok, I understand that they were doing things last minute until 2 am, but forgetting only one name? MY NAME? You gotta be kidding me. But I stayed and sat with my friends; thank goodness there was a free seat in their table! I was really pissed at first because I actually bought a dress for this party! GRRR.. But it was a really great night. The dancing was probably the best. I was too dumb not to remove my heels before dancing, so my feet were really TIRED.

February 7, 2010: Korean Grill
The day after, another friend of mine was having a party for her birthday too. We went to Korean BBQ Grill, and boy was I so full! That was probably the best meal I ever had! Seeing that it was my first time too, I was really excited! Then, we went back to her house to play some Rock Band which was pretty funny too.

I’m trying to convert to XHTML, but no luck so far. I guess I have to resort to online converter.

You know what I just realized? I have some questions that you asked us about MONTHS ago, and I/we forgot to answer them. So, I’m going to look through my archive and look for the questions. I feel so bad because you guys actually took time to ask us some questions, and we didn’t even respond to anything. So, I’m crossing my fingers that I find those questions before I forget again.

So, after all the studying… I’m kinda having a “blogger’s block”. It seems like I was brainwashed after trying to fit all the formulas in my teeny tiny brain. HAHA. So, I’ll leave it like that for now and go find those questions

On the last week of January, I will be taking my final exams. This means, that I will not be as active. If you leave a comment, it might take me days or not at all to comment back. Sorry for that But knowing me, I’ll come up with a reason to get access to any computer. HAHA. But I seriously need to focus since all my courses are quite hard: Chemistry, Advance Functions, Biology and French. I certainly need to focus more on Biology since that’s my lowest mark.

Although I’m dreading the exams, I can’t wait for the last week since it’s going to be all over! FINALLY. And I think I am going to get my official and permanent drivers license on the last week too! I took the Driver’s Test on the second last day of 2009 (December 30) and they said they will mail the permanent one within 4 weeks, so I’m kinda excited

I have been pestering my mom, asking her about getting a website of my own. She just keeps looking at me! Giving me her weird/are you serious/ what are you talking about look. I’ve been looking at the prices at NameCheap, and they’re not that bad. A .org and .com are around $10 yearly for 10 years! So its all good. If you have a domain, can you please tell me any difficulties or hard stuff in putting up a website? Coz I really want to have my own :S Pauline offered her site to me since she’s transferring (THANKS PAULINNNEE) but I have to decline since I want to get a domain by my own “strength”. LOL

If you have noticed, we haven’t been making vlogs lately. Its because someone broke into our house last October just after Thanksgiving. And they took the liberty to take our video camera. Yeah sad news for the new year, but we’ve moved on. So, we might try to make a vlog with our digital camera because its going to be awhile for us to have a new video camera. But its all good

After the whole two weeks off, its really hard adjusting to school. My eyes just close for the whole day. But I’m getting there. HAHA. So, the only thin that sucks with the new year is that exams are coming up—at the end of January. And I AM NOT READY. Especially with my current Bio mark.

Anyways, it’s still a busy week even though its a winter break. Well, obviously because its the holidays So, we have like 2 more days until Christmas and I have finished my Christmas shopping yesterday. So that’s a relief. WHEW.

And I got my Christmas present It’s an iPod Touch . I was honestly just joking of wanting to get one, but my parents actually believed it. Because we were going Christmas shopping on Sunday, and I was blabbing about how I want an iPod Touch and a Wii. And then my dad suddenly wants to go to Best Buy. I was like, Ok, we’re buying a Wii today. But then they were out of stock, so it was a failure Next thing you know, my parents were in the iPod section. I was like, NO WAY. So I got it I’m kinda addicted to it now especially since I can go online. So me and my bro don’t have to fight over the computer for a while. HAHAHA

Do you guys think that a modified Wii is better than an original one? Well, a modified Wii is original, but these people put in a chip or something so that the Wii can play bootleg games. And they’re cheap. But one thing I’m scared about is that it might now work. Do any of you have a modified Wii? Please TELL MEEEE.

Oh yeah! I got my grad pics Here’s me with a cap on. Yeah, it says DO NOT COPY because we are supposed to order packages which are SO EXPENSIVE. Nothing is like under 50 bucks!

Anyways, I went to a wedding this weekend It was FUN FUN FUN LOL. OMG I was so tired! We just got back on Sunday. But it was really exciting. The only bothersome thing is that I need to wear a short dress in NOVEMBER! It was freaking cold! Whew. Thank goodness for the invention of cars! WHEW. It pretty much filled my whole weekend, so I didn’t get to do my homework. Which is really bad.

And I OFFICIALLY failed a Biology test. I’m not talking about a bad mark fail. I’m talking about FAIL FAIL. YES. FAIL. Ugh. This is so stressing. Just when I thought it was all over. These are the stuff I need to do before Christmas break. ALL the big BIG assignments. I’m trying to balance my time in order to fit all of these in two weeks.

Rain rain go away, let Mr. SNOW come today. It doesn’t feel so Christmas-y if there’s no snow!

ZOMBIE WALK
My friends and I went to the annual Zombie Walk. Gosh it was a long walk! It took us two hours to get to our destination. Imagine about 3000 zombies walking the streets of downtown Toronto! OO Scary And of course we painted our faces to look like zombies. But MOST people went all out with it! As in, they dressed up and all. It was really cool and creative. The highlight of it all was that someone got proposed to before the walk. Who would have thought that zombies are soft and sweet and scary all at the same time!

The only problem with zombies? They don’t know how to answer a question.

HALLOWEEN
This year for Halloween, I was a rag doll I you used to watch Toy Castle, then you know what I’m talking about. But I didn’t look like THAT. It was just simple and effective. This was the first time I wore my “costume” to school. It was really cool because I wasn’t the only one who did it. I saw Johnny Depp, a hippie, Sasuke! O.O and many more! It was awesome.

Every year, I volunteer with my friends during Halloween. We give out candies to kids who were so cute. Someone even dressed up as Michael Jackson! :3 The nicest thing was that we had time to go trick or treating! We never had the time before. Probably because it was colder this time and kids prefer to stay home? Oh well. So we walked and walked and walked for and hour to get candies. But some people are so stingy! They only give one candy per person! GRRRR… I was using a Walmart plastic bag, and it wasn’t even full! But oh well, at least I got some

Anyways, I bet you’re all tired of seeing the same layout for a LONG PERIOD of time. I’m still trying to make a new one. It’s been hard finding an inspiration when I have many things to figure out. But I will and need to make one before November ends.

So, for the title… My school’s handing out early warning letters to those students who are not doing well in their class. And I’m one of those students. GRRR. I got one for my Biology class. Which is really discouraging. I mean, I know its still like a month when school started, but like, to know that I’m doing bad? Well, I guess its partly my fault too. I’ve been doing poorly in my tests. And I mean POORLY. But hopefully I get to bump my mark up for midterms

You know one of the things I hate the most? PIMPLES. They’re just so annoying. I mean, they don’t do anything but stay there. Which makes them REALLY ANNOYING. Here I am waiting for it to just disappear. Do you know how many times I have restrained myself from popping it? GRRR. Sorry for the guys that are reading this. LOL. It’s just that, every time I looked at myself in the mirror, the stupid pimple’s just there. MOCKING ME.

Oh yeah, one more reason that I have not been blogging? MAH JONG QUEST. I’ve become addicted to that game! I first played it because we had a free trial for HP. But then I got really into it and looked around the internet to find a download-able full version. And VOILA, I did find one, and have been playing with it since then. HAHA.

I also went to another University fair in our school. I got lots of good information about the program I’m going into. But after going to three Uni. Fairs, I still have that debate with my parents on which university I’m going to. GRRR…

I still haven’t forgotten about the questions that you asked. Gosh, how long ago did you ask those questions? I want to make a vlog, but then… Yeah… Don’t want to go there again. Sorry guys. But I promise that I will answer those questions.
